Healthcare
Clean, compliant lift interiors for healthcare environments.
Healthcare facilities run on infection control protocols, compliance requirements, and the need to minimise disruption to patient and staff movement. Architectural vinyl wrapping works within those constraints: fast installation, seamless surfaces that are easy to clean, and fire-rated product options for buildings with specific compliance requirements.
Why it works for healthcare
Smooth, cleanable surfaces
Aged or damaged lift surfaces harbour contaminants and are harder to clean effectively. A fresh vinyl surface is smooth, non-porous, and compatible with standard healthcare cleaning products. The 3M DI-NOC range is engineered for commercial environments and can be specified in finishes that meet infection control requirements.
Fire-rated product available
Healthcare buildings typically require fire-rated interior surface linings. The 3M DI-NOC range carries Australian Group 1 fire certification under AS 1530.3, the highest classification for interior surface linings, and we supply the relevant test certificates for your compliance records.
Minimal downtime per cab
Patient movement and clinical operations depend on lift availability. Single-day installation per cab means downtime is predictable and limited. We work within planned maintenance windows and coordinate with your facilities team to minimise impact on operations.
No construction noise or dust
A vinyl wrap installation produces no construction noise, no dust, and no fumes. There is no impact on air quality in adjacent clinical areas. The installation is quiet enough to complete in an occupied building without disrupting patient care.

Common questions
Can you provide fire compliance documentation for our facility records?
Yes. For installations using 3M DI-NOC, we supply the relevant AS 1530.3 Group 1 fire test certificates. These are the same documents required by building surveyors and fire engineers for new-build compliance, appropriate for inclusion in your facility's safety management system.
Are your products safe for use in a clinical environment?
Yes. 3M DI-NOC architectural vinyl is a pressure-sensitive adhesive film with no VOC off-gassing after application. The installation process uses no solvents, primers, or chemicals that would affect air quality in adjacent clinical areas. Products comply with GREENGUARD Gold certification.
Can you work within an infection control plan?
Yes. We follow facility-specific infection control protocols including PPE requirements, site induction, and zone access procedures. We work with your facilities team to schedule within approved maintenance windows and comply with all access requirements.
What if the lift services a critical area and cannot be taken out of service?
We can work around planned downtime windows and coordinate with your maintenance team to identify the lowest-impact install window. For critical-path lifts, we've completed installations during overnight and weekend windows where daytime downtime is not possible.
